Available Positions

Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients with multiple developmental, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular dysfunction, in accordance with established departmental and professional practice guidelines, standards and protocols.
  • Serve as a resource for area(s) of expertise and providing consultation to clinics and interdisciplinary staff.

Qualifications:

  • The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • 1 plus years of experience, home health care experience preferred
  • The analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs.
  • Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well-developed writing skills.
  • Current certification by the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapy
  • MA State licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
Physical Therapist

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the client's rehabilitative status and participate in the development of the total plan of care.
  • Initiate physical therapy program and instruct other personnel in certain phases of physical therapy with which they may work with a client.
  • Prepare and submit clinical notes and progress summaries based on the attainment of goals

Qualifications:

  • Possess a degree from a Baccalaureate or Master’s program in Physical Therapy from an accredited organization
  • Valid license to practice physical therapy within the state of Massachusetts
  • Possess and maintain current CPR certification
  • One year of appropriate experience preferred
  • Home care experience preferred (not required)
Speech Therapist

Responsibilities:

  • Administers diagnostic speech and language evaluations, as well as some basic, informal audiological assessment
  • Prepares a report of each patient’s diagnostic evaluation, makes recommendations and maintains appropriate records of visits, including progress of patient
  • Provides direct speech service to patients under a physician’s plan of care. Records and reports to the physician the patient’s response to therapy
  • Assists in coordinating speech therapy program through nurse with other services to family
  • Demonstrates therapy for the nurse, family member, or other responsible person who may assist the patient with his/her speech and language rehabilitation
  • Reevaluates the patient’s progress and therapy program making changes as necessary under the physician’s direction
  • Assists in referring the patients to speech and audiology clinics in other community agencies

Qualifications:

  • Certified as a Speech Pathologist by American Speech and Language Association
  • Registered in the State of Massachusetts as a speech pathologist
  • Three years’ work experience in the speech therapy environment
